Hi I’m Rew Dickinson,
Throughout my career, I’ve been both a top performing sales engineer and sales rep. I believe that sales engineers are the secret weapon to enterprise sales. But unfortunately they are often treated as subservient to their sales reps, they’re not given enough time for discovery, and they’re viewed as merely “technical resources”.
I’ve sat through company dinners where my fellow sales engineers and I sat quietly unnoticed as sales reps won awards and got recognition for their hard work. And I watched my SE partners who did great work have to do the same as I won awards as a rep myself.
I created Alpha Presales training to help sales engineering teams get the recognition they deserve by helping them to communicate more business value, ask better questions (even when they haven’t been given time for discovery), and be the client’s Trusted Leader.
